Will Harris is a writer of mixed Anglo-Indonesian heritage, born and based in London. He was included in the anthology Ten: Poets of the New Generation (Bloodaxe, 2017), and featured in ES Magazine as part of the “new guard” of London poets. He has had work in the Guardian, Poetry Review, the London Review of Books, and elsewhere. His debut chapbook of poems, All This is Implied, (HappenStance, 2017), was joint winner of the London Review Bookshop Pamphlet of the Year and shortlisted for the Callum Macdonald Memorial Award by the National Library of Scotland. His poem ‘SAY’ was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Single Poem 2018, and he was the recipient of the Arts Foundation’s 2019 Poetry Fellowship.

He is the author of the essay Mixed-Race Superman, published by Peninsula Press in the UK in 2018 and in an expanded US edition by Melville House in 2019.

His debut poetry collection RENDANG will be published by Granta in the UK and Wesleyan University Press in the US in 2020.
